Some web pages created by Parsemus Foundation use ‘cookies’, which are small text files that may be placed on your hard disk for record-keeping purposes. It is essentially your identification card, and cannot be executed as code or deliver viruses. It is uniquely yours and can only be read by the server that gave it to you. A cookie’s purpose is to tell the server that you returned to that Web page. Cookies in and of themselves do not personally identify users, although they do identify the user’s domain name and host for Internet access; the Internet address of the site from which the user came; the date and time that the user accesses the Parsemus Foundation website and which pages they visit within it; and the user computer’s IP address and information about its operating system, browser and host.

PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to theirs using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or log in to the PayPal site, their server checks that you’re using an approved browser – one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher.
Once your information reaches the PayPal site, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. PayPal servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the Internet, so your private information is available only to authorized computers. Full information on PayPal’s security measures can be found here.
Full credit card data is securely transferred and hosted off-site by a payment vendor in compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). This information is not accessible to Coinbase staff. Complete information on Coinbase’s security policy can be found here.
